With more than six decades under our belts, we like to think we’ve learned a thing—or three. And we believe the best use of this experience is to employ it to keep on innovating, investing in our people, and creating places people love to live in.

You’ll find that we haven’t strayed far from our roots—we’re still headquartered in our Oregon hometown of Medford, where we established our very first community. And while we’re now a not-for-profit corporation managing more than 50 senior living organizations across more than a half dozen states, we think it’s important to stay close to where we started. It reminds us that what matters most are the people who work and live in the communities we proudly manage.
We have become known for leading the industry in innovation, excellence, and stewardship, and our nearly 2-to-1 employee-to-resident ratio across our communities exemplifies our dedication. Since our beginnings we have been dedicated to creating a community of people who are passionate about life, curious about their futures, and committed to their personal growth (and who also know how to have fun). Here’s how our past has laid the foundation for our future.
Greater Impacts
Determined to do more for seniors across the Pacific Northwest, the Rogue Valley Manor’s board of directors and executive management team incorporated Pacific Retirement Services as a not-for-profit organization in 1990.
